CMOS image sensors recently become the mainstream image acquisition devices and develop very rapidly.Nowadays CMOS image sensor not only has analog conversion circuit but also integrates a digital signal processing circuit,making its complexity greatly improved.Accompanied by the rapid development of CMOS image sensor are the acquisition transmission and test requirements.To achieve these needs need to capture the image transmission system as a support.The main work of this paper is to design a set of image acquisition system based on the image output characteristics and working requirements of a specific kind CMOS image sensor,in order to support the CMOS image sensor test.the results are as follows:1.Access the related literature and reference materials,be familiar with the structure and performance of CMOS image sensor,combined with the specific output format of CMOS image sensor.The overall frame of image acquisition and transmission system and the specific transmission mode and interface format are designed.2.Completed the image acquisition and transmission system design,the system design using the specific type of CMOS image sensor as the imaging core,using TI's Davinc series of audio and video processing So C-TMS320DM6467 as the master chip,and in accordance with the needs of Altera's Cyclone II series FPGA work together.CMOS image sensor output data's collection,storage and transmission to the DSP using FPGA,Using DSP chip to further processing,and the processed image data through the network interface to the PC side.The system establishes the communication to the chip register through the IIC protocol and realizes the purpose of regulating the CMOS image sensor.3.Completed the system hardware design and implementation,finished the design of the system schematic and PCB layout,and complete the hardware debugging work.Making evaluation through the specified type of CMOS image sensor test,complete the image acquisition and transmission system verification.
