With the rapid development of the Internet, the social network is gradually integrating into people's daily life. More and more Internet users cannot live without the social network already. They are accustomed to share their knowledge, thoughts on the internet, and are willing to fill their personal information on it. Under this environment, how to effectively protect the privacy and security of social network to ensure that important privacy information is not easily accessible to others because of some wrongdoing or unfavorable behaviors to the users has become a problem that cannot be ignored. Nowadays, the scale of the user's personal social network(personal network, a network of the user and their friends, where the user we call"center user") is becoming larger and more complex. It is difficult to find a suitable way to manage them automatically. Social network websites provide a number of ways to help users manage their friends, including manually dividing friends intodifferent groups and using the results provided by the system classifier. However, it is too difficult for users to manually divide their friends, and the results provided by the system are not accurate enough. After the classification of friends, access control to them manually is also very cumbersome. How to automatically achieve this process according to the relationship between the central user and their friends is also a problem needs to be solved. In order to solve the above problems, this dissertation proposed an access control model for social network to protect the privacy of the central users, to achieve the division of the circle of friends and access control accurately and automatically, the specific research results are as follows:1) A hybrid friend circle identify algorithm in ego network is proposed to solve the problem that circles cannot be identified automatically and accurately, which is based on the user information and structure information in personal network.Meanwhile, the proposed algorithm takes the contact frequency between users into consideration and identifies the center user's friends accurately in many ways. The algorithm is used in the first part of our proposed access control model - role assignment. So the model can identify the center user,s friends accurately and arrange different identities for them.2) Permission settings algorithm in personal networks is proposed to solve the problem that different friends cannot be given different access rights accurately and dynamically in social network. The proposed algorithm can balance circle judgment,indirect and malicious users on the basis of role assignment and gives a solution to permission conflict which may appear in permission control. Meanwhile,the algorithm is used in the second part of our proposed access control model-permission control. So, the model can set permissions for different friends reasonably.
