We chat's circle of friends has already been an important stage, where users go on daily life and social interaction. By sharing with their friends they show another "self" in circle of friends, what contains a special "meaning" and "value". This article proposed by textual analysis and in-depth interview with a combination of method,empirically going on an study of self-presentation behaviors we chat's circle of friends, motivation, and on this basis, on the perspective of "social currency" theory,understanding and explaining its inherent meaning and value. Research shows,through information sharing, user mainly lies in recording life, expressing feeling and venting their emotions.In the use of images, text, video and other media symbol showing the process of self, users indeed play a certain role in society, they would be interested in using a certain strategy, highlighting their excellent, showing an ideal himself. The study found that,when sharing information, users show a certain gender and personality differences, women are more likely to go on self-presentation than men, the export-oriented prefer to express themselves than introverts. In order to have much more social currency, users would find a common circle, share information with practical value from other people's point of view, and intend to create scarcity to get the conversation. After having social currency, users can show their own image and obtain the identity of group identity, what is beneficial for the development of relations under the line.
