Design And Implementation Of Network Configuration And Management Tool For SDN

With the rapid development of the Internet,the network environment becomes more and more complicated,then management is more complicated,SDN(Software-Defined networking)comes to the fore.The centralized management mechanism of SDN has so many advantages,but it lacks mature configuration management tools,the traditional network management systems mostly do managing in the level of equipment.Under the background of the new network architecture,not only to manage the equipment,but also to configuration management in the service level is needed.And the configuration and management of complex network forces the network management and configuration technology more challenging.Therefore,under the background of SDN and traditional networks coexisting,how to achieve a SDN-oriented network configuration management tool and provide a unified network management interface to the existing network management system,is a worthwhile technology on road of the development of SDN.Based on the centralized control theory of SDN,this paper designs and implements a network configuration management tool for SDN.Firstly,this paper designed and implemented the data acquisition module based on the OpenFlow technology in the SDN controller,which is used to collect topology information,traffic information,etc.Secondly,this paper designs MIB(management information base),and realizes a unified network management interface based on the simple network management protocol(SNMP),which is compatible with the traditional network management system.Meanwhile,this paper designed and implemented a special configuration module for the SDN network equipment providing table,queue configuration function.In addition,this paper analyzed the resource datas in SDN network based on WEB,and displays these information.At the end of this paper,building the test environment for the tool,and according to the demand of the tool I designed different test scenarios,including the mobile switching scene,security business scene,thus validating the feasibility and validity of the SDN-oriented network configuration management tool on the network topology,traffic and other configuration information management.
