| Auto-configuration, as opposed to manual configuration, can be defined as the process of the B-NT autonomously taking actions in order to obtain configuration information from one or more appropriate management realms in the network. This allows the user of the B-NT to make use of the service(s) he has requested previously. Auto-configuration avoids the need for the B-NT user having to configure information manually in order to make use of the requested service. Key advantages of the auto-configuration process are that it makes life easier for the user of the B-NT and minimizes customer service issues caused by mis-configuration. The CPE WAN Management Protocol is the third stage of auto-configuration defined in TR-046 covers "auto -configured complex services", intending to support a variety of function alities to manage a collection of CPE including the following primary capabilities: Auto-configuration and dynamic service provisioning.As a mainly broadband acess way, ADSL will be more and more important for the requirement of convinient data configuration, quick location and solvement of malfunction. As opposed to traditional TMN mode, TR069 can serve the mode of division of network acess provider and network service provider and support a varity of functionnalities including auto-confirgution and dynamic service provisioning, auto-upgrade of software/firmware.Firstly, the technology background of the research and development of TR069 and releated XML and SOAP are discribed in this thesis. Secondly , I gave analysis of the system archetecture of TR069, transaction session, security, configuration efficiency and mode of interaction, also brought out a concept of batch configuration and make progress in the mechanism of reset nitification. At last, I described the course of design and inplement of TR069 protocol stack and configuration database, giving emphsis on data struct and access algrithm. In addithion, Extensibility was taken into consideration for data base. |
