Design And Implementation Of Field Attendance System For Township Civil Servants

With the passage of time and development of the society, the Internet has been subverting traditional consumption patterns and breeding new ones. Under this background, it has become an urgency creating attendance system with new technology to achieve efficient management and effective work especially for government bodies. At present, traditional attendance-recording methods are still widely utilized in most government agencies in villages and towns, which leads to low work efficiency and fraudulent practices in business trips. Thus, it's become a vital part of information infrastructure construction to create efficient attendance system for civil servants and simplify its management procedures. Hereby this project will be systematically developed in combination with specific needs of specific villages and towns. This research project includes analysis and classification of needs integrated with software engineering ideas to set concrete later coding tasks,estimation of user number in current system and choice of appropriate technology for the development and research according to the existing system architecture and technology. The system is to be analyzed and designed centering on five modules and database systems - "attendance notification","daily schedule","location of service","approval and checking" and "operative track". The system can login through the Web browser to scan and administrate attendance records.The system is designed and implemented according to the specific needs of Poverty Alleviation Office in a certain city using SaaS and MySQL database. Website background not only conforms to the B/S architecture for web page viewing and operation, but also provides the same service interface for mobile terminal operations so as to meet user demands via mutual coordination between B/S and C/S. The system has been formally deployed and used online. It successfully reduces time consumption in communication between the superior and the subordinate, enhances intensity of supervision, and reduces the phenomenon of skimping on job. This system satisfies the needs of field investigation; further, it better combines poverty-related businesses,greatly improving work efficiency of grass-roots civil servants. This paper will hinge on the parts of B/S architecture and the interface provided to mobile terminals.
