At present,with the rapid development of network technology and information technology,the Web-based remote monitoring system developed by Internet technology has been widely used in industrial production and other fields.In this paper,the research object is the remote water quality monitoring system which is based on a industrial wastewater treatment process.Since the traditional monitoring system adopts centralized structure and C/S(Client/Server)architecture,the high coupling between the system software is difficult to expand,and Software depends on the hardware platform,which leads to the system cannot realize resource reuse and meet the needs of remote monitoring.So consider adopting B/S(Browser/Server)architecture to build the entire system,to realize the function of remote real-time monitoring of distributed wastewater treatment sites.In this paper,the background and significance of the research are introduced.According to the current research on the development of this topic,the difficulties in the development of the system are analyzed,and some important techniques in the system are discussed in detail.Including the design and development of the database information management system and the real-time and reliability analysis of the system.For the Web server,the paper mainly discusses the access technology of the database,the real-time transmission of the data and Real-time data in the page dynamic rendering and other important issues.And finally developed a technical implementation of the route and designed of a water-based online remote monitoring system.The whole system adopts B/S mode.In terms of the system data communication,two kinds of data communication interfaces are developed,one is based on OPC(OLE Process Control)technology to write the OPC client program;the other is realized by Socket real-time communication technology.Web server using ASP.NET technology development,the Microsoft Azure database is used for the storage,the remote engineers could monitor the wastewater treatment site real-time data,historical data access,report statistics through the browser,At the same time the system also has fault alarm and video monitoring and other functions.At present,the system has been applied to the project,the operation is in good condition,and the feasibility and practicability of the system are verified.
