Remote Information Transmission System Based On The Socket And Sms Technology

This project focus on R&D of remote information transfer between some device , especially in the water-quality monitoring system. After learning the architecture of the popular PSTN dial-up network.VPN broadband network and GSM wireless network , a new solution for remote communication was proposed. Under this idea frame a communication hardware platform and software was developed.The data transfer platform was developed on the VPN network based on ADSL.The point of dynamic IP was resolved by dynamic host service. So local station can be visit by remote computer with domain name.Through the VPN server user can connect to host by VPN client.Then a field network is comprised of the remote computer and local computer.Resource can be shared within this field network.The emphasis of this project-design of communication software based on Internet Socket.which finished the data transfer between computers in the water-quality monitoring system. Monitoring software transfer measuring data from local machine to remote machine by data packet.lf there are some exception or abnormality in local device.the system can send alarm message to remote user by GSM short message.The following chapters covered every contents of the design including solution carry out and verification, system hardware design and Socket software development.
