The water consumption and discharge of the eastern district of Hefei city and Longgang industrial district is huge and there is no complete sewage and wastewater treatment plant, which pollutes the Ershipu River valley and Chao Lake, reduces the living standard of local residents and restricts the growth of industry and agriculture. To protect the health of local people and to improve the city environment, the construction committee of Hefei city decided to build Zhuzhuanjing Wastewater Treatment Plant.The aim of this article is to solve the problem of equipping a DCS automatic monitoring system for the plant. After introducing the characteristics, analyzing the functions and describing the structure of DCS (Distributed Control System), the author designed an automatic monitoring system based on DCS and developed the upper management layer based on Kingview as well as the field management layer based on OMRON PLC. This article explains upper configuration and analyzing the construction of PLC in detail.This article also introduces CX-programmer, the programming tool for PLC, the development and human-machine interface of Kingview, the software for upper configuration platform.
