The Investigation For Article Publication Cost In Foreign OA Academic Journals And The Thought For China

The traditional academic journals and paid electronic journals face a serious crisis because of academic monopoly,promote the free dissemination of scientific research results,and promote the exchange of academic information and the publication of new publishing model.The publication of the " Budapest open access pilot scheme" in 2001 promoted the rise of open access movement,open access movement to promote the liberalization of academic information communication and open access(OA)movement in the international academic field,in order to resolve the academic exchange conflict.Open access publishing is based on the freedom and sharing of academic exchange,advocates the scientific public welfare and social as the best interests,aims to protect public reasonable and barrier-free access to scientific research results.Open access publishing can realize the willingness of readers to get academic information online,and meet the information will of users in the academic exchange in the internet environment,and give the internal motivation of OA publishing.This paper is divided into five chapters,based on the in-depth study of foreign open access journal papers,and discusses the publication of academic journals in China.In the first chapter of this paper,the backgroud and significance of the research are briefly introduced.The second chapter analyzes the evolution of the business operation mode of academic journals,the collection methods,source,pricing factors,and fee waivers policy.The third chapter analyzes the foreign open access academic journals,focusing on the APC pricing,payment mechanism,publishing APC,and comparative analysis of the pure OA journals and OA journals,compare the APC and subscription.The fourth chapter investigates the foreign open access academic journals based on foreign open access policy,and analyzes them from two aspects of the journals and publishing houses.The last chapter discusses the development direction and prospect of open access publishing of academic resources in China while summarizing the development of foreign open access journals.
