The rapid development of new media has broken the traditional media competitive landscape,the industrial structure,production mechanism and communication environment of the news industry have undergone tremendous changes.Media convergence brought opportunity to the traditional media,also brought a series of challenges.As the authority of the mainstream news was fragmented information annihilation,media news is affected by citizen news and online information,Journalists reduced from the "uncrowned king" to "news migrant workers".News extortion,news extortion,false news and other phenomena let down the social status of journalists,high-pressure working conditions and living conditions also let journalists complain incessantly.Journalists as a social instrument,bears a certain sense of social responsibility and mission,their professional identity directly affects the quality of his work,but also affect the future development of the media.This article takes Henan province journalists as the research object,adopted the combination of questionnaire and depth interview method,handed out and recovered311 effective questionnaires in the media of Henan province journalists,extracted the samples for depth interviews at the same time.Combined with the four factors of journalists' professional identity indicators.Combined with journalists occupational identification indexes of four elements,namely from the origin and motivation,professional sentiment and loyalty,news or journalistic career cognition and self-identity for analysis.The study found that,journalists' career identity overall is in the medium level,Different gender,age,media category of journalists have different professional identities,many journalists are not willing to the status quo,but no willing to leave.This paper analyzes the factors that affect the professional identity of journalists,for example the Salary income level,personnel preparation,personal ability,media development prospects and so on.This article puts forward that journalists,media industry,news universities,government departments and the social public should work together and play the role of social cohabitation to reshape theprofessional identity of journalists.
