Design And Implementation Of Audiovisual Archive Cataloging System

In knowledge economy times,only utilize knowledge capital for long-term profit can we survive in intense competition.As a new phenomenon in knowledge times,media asset management is the key part of KC,making it possible to survive and develop in intense competition.Digital media asset management is a new research and application subject,using modern technics,such as computer technology,digital information technology,web communication technology,to manage media content asset in order to establish the whole process of creating,storing,cataloging,searching,and distributing.China Central Television has the largest media asset database and the most developed technics in China,the media asset management system has played a role in program resource sharing.This thesis gives an outline of the concept of media asset management,the development of it in China and abroad,the meaning of this research,the role of cataloging in the system,and the process in CCTV.The essay focuses on the frame and method in CCTV cataloging system(mainly project management and auditing).The system is based on SQL Server,VB language,including system analysis,requirement analysis,process analysis,function module design,database system design,and statistics output design.This system provides a platform for collecting,arranging,distributing,auditing,searching,statistics analysis.
