Combined with the commercialized clinical chairside fixed-defined CAD/CAM system,we studied the modeling theory and implementation techniques of denture preparation.And the method of inlay design with the model of denture preparation and the tooth body scan data from patient's mouth was proposed as well.The modeling theory and implementation techniques for the modeling of denture preparation were studied.The method of hole edge line extraction was proposed according to analyzed the research situation at home and abroad of inlay design technology.To obtain the cavosurface margin of tooth preparation,cavosurface margin data points are firstly extracted from the scanning point cloud data,and then features are extracted from the cavosurface margin data points.As a result,the obtained cavosurface margin with faster determining velocity and less feature points satisfies the error conditions,which facilitates the use of oral clinical design.The inlay design method was also studied.The feature points of inlay were extracted in the point cloud data of related tooth obtained by using laser scanning,and then matched the inlay characteristic points of denture preparation model.Hence,the related inlay was designed.In this paper,the extraction method of hole edge lines and its features was proposed,the relationship among the point cloud of patients,related healthy teeth and bite side of two teeth was established.According to the calculation of the orientation growth parameters of BMN thin film deposited at different oxygen pressures,the relationship between orientation growth and dielectric properties were established.Then the feature points of top inlay were extracted by using the conjugate relations of healthy and defected teeth.These methods simplify the inlay design process,rapid design the fitted inlay for patients,and restore form and function of defected tooth,thereby reducing patient's treatment time.At the end of this paper,it sums up the whole research work and gives some work prospects.
