Study On The Method Of 3D Reconstruction Of Artificial Tooth

3D(three-dimensinal) reconstruction of medical imaging is the basis of CAC(computer aided cure).Recent years , with the development of 3d laser scan technology, the research of 3D medical Image reconstruction has become aahotspot. It is multidisciplinary research field witch is an important application of computer graphics and digital image processing in the biomedical engineering.This thesis study on the reconstruction based on the slice date by section scan, take the artificial tooth as example.This thesis introduces the survey and development trend of 3D medical visualization, the key technology and algorithm in this field are discussed and compared. Then the research scheme has been confirmed.First, reconstruct the 3D grid model via contours connection based on the datas witch are dealt with .Then the model is smoothed and adjusted.In order to gaine more smooth and vivid 3D images, B-spline surface are used to approach grid surface and acquire an ideal reconstruction result finally.On the other hand, a 3D reconstruction systemthe has been built, witch take VC++6.0 as the platform and OpenGL as the development tools. User can operate the model interactively including illumination display﹑geometric operation and picking arbitrary point on the model.This research reconstructed the 3D model of artificial tooth in the computer successfully and a 3D reconstruction systemthe has been built to operate the model interactively.With the development of automation technology, it has combined with the application of the tooth arrangement robot, witch makes the simulation of doctor′s medical practice becomes true. Such as pre-adjusting dentition′s position in the orthodontics and restoration process making simulation of the dentofacial structure.This resach can help extricate the medical staff from the heavy physical and mental work.Doctors can provide prediction and medical treatment scheme more relaxedly and exactly for patients when befor or after operation .The research of 3D medical image reconstruction has become the developing trend of the prosthodontics and even the medical science in the future.Therefore, this reseach has good social effect and result.
