Apparently with the rapid development of technology, wisdom city has become an inevitable trend of society. As a core component, network monitoring plays an increasingly important role. With the popularity of IT technology and the development of smart mobile devices, people's expectation of the network monitoring system is also increasing.While traditional network monitoring system can meet the basic needs of the wisdom city, but there are still shortcomings. In the system, all the monitoring cameras are shown as a list. User can only search the id to recognize the target camera. It's not intuitive and inefficient. Apparently, the traditional system is limited by the monitoring center room. The monitoring staff can only operate the system while they are in the monitoring center room.Due to these two problems, this paper introduces a new mobile monitoring solution which used 3d modeling and smart client technology. In this solution, we design a smart mobile client system with 3d modeling. Cameras are organized in the buildings' 3d models. Also the mobile client can reduce the limit of the monitoring center room, which can greatly improve the worker's efficiency. The research and achievements of the paper includes:(1) Set up the mobile monitoring system on smart mobile phone with Unity3D engine. This client system includes the building up of the virtual environment, deploy of the network cameras, and the configuration of the monitoring function.(2) Create an application server for the mobile client. The application server is designed as Web Service which packs the based open API.(3) Set up the message broker which works for the communication of the client and server side. The message broker includes a running service and a client component.(4) Restructure the traditional system. This includes separating the monitoring functions to build up the open API, and creating open interface for extension in future.The test result shows that this solution could solve the two problems smoothly. At the same time, the system has good scalability to enhance with abundant open interfaces.
