Nowadays, with the continuous development of economic globalization, the bankingindustry is becoming more and more competitive. In order to enhance the bankingcompetitiveness, many banks take the business informatization as an important measure. However, due to the business diversity and historical reasons, the IT systems of many banksare consisted of several subsystems. And these subsystems usually have different platforms ordifferent operating systems. It results in different data format and data encoding betweendifferent subsystems. In order to integrate these subsystems to form a total system andimprove the system reusability, it is required to develop an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)system. The ESB system should provide Message routing and data conversion functions. There are many tools on the market which can develop such a system. Among all of them, atool called Message Broker which provides by IBM Corporation is more popular in recentyears. It is a useful tool for the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) product development. TheEnterprise Service Bus (ESB) system development based on Message Broker, can greatlyshorten the development cycle, reduce the development costs and reduce maintenancedifficulty. Therefore, based on the fully investigation of the business logic of my companyand the relevant research of the enterprise service bus technology, this article discussed thedesign and implementation of a Message routing and data conversion system based onMessage Broker technology. I will use the Message Broker as a development tool and add ourcompany’s business logic for the secondary development. There are five main working areas:1. I analyse my company’s requirement for enterprise service bus information system, i.e.user requirement analysis;2. Taken the SOA patterns architecture as the guide, I conduct the detailed design for the9modules of the Enterprise Service Bus Information System (hereinafter referred to as ESBSystem), e.g. Message routing module, data conversion module and so on. These modulescan implement Message routing function and data conversion function and so on;3. Based on the Oracle database technology, I build a reasonable database, design thecorresponding database tables and refine each database table’s content, so that all the data can be shared in the whole ESB system, and can be accessed and managed easily;4. I describe the deployment plan of the ESB system. In addition, I introduce the MQclustering technology to achieve the load balancing and failover capabilities. This ESBsystem has industry segments, business segments and information specialized characteristics;5. After the fully testing in the business running environment, it is proved that thecorrectness of the ESB system design. The ESB system fulfills my company’s requirement. And the research result of this article can be an important reference for the development ofenterprise services bus information system for my company.
