With the rapid development of the Internet and the growing requirement of informationlisation in Enterprises, the information exchange and sharing between application systems within and among become more frequently . The integration of these systems becomes highly practical and necessary. The MB (Message Broker Middleware) can provide with us a convenient and efficient integration scheme.Based on the reliable message transferring mechanism of MQM (Message Queue Middleware) , MB provides three functions required by application integration: message transforming function, message routing function and message collecting function, which efficiently simplifies the communication between distributed applications.Like a software hub, MB functions by connecting each application system that requires interoperation ; hence it reduces the number of application system interfaces and their mutual technical dependency on the one hand, and it can also adapt to the changes in the processing logic and application system's architecture on the other hand.As a result, the investment in the existing applications can be protected to the utmost. The paper starts with an explication of the working mechanism of MQM that lays the theoretical foundation for MB.After analyzing the current procedures of the applied integration, it proceeds to propose a Centralized Message Processing Scheme and expound the message processing techniques concerned. Then on the basis of this Scheme, it designed a simplified version of MB,which is named MIB (Message Integrating Broker) and Equally important, realized the central module of MIB-message flow engine .In the concluding part, the paper summarizes the design and realization of MIB and suggested the future improvement on it.
