Design And Implementation Of A Video Surveillance System Client On SIP

With the development of Internet and the improvement of image processing and automation technology,video surveillance system has developed from the early simulating signal time to the digital time,from a closed system to a open system. It has a very important significance in the practical application to construct a scalable and flexible video surveillance based on IP network.Currently, video surveillance system builds on the SIP or H.323 signaling control protocols. Because of the superiority of SIP, the paper's video surveillance system is built on the SIP. SIP Video surveillance system generally includes client, server and SIP server system. The client is a very important subsystem of video surveillance system,including remote control terminal and monitor center. We can flexibly access the surveillance system to monitor and control the cloud mirror system in real-time by the video surveillance client. This paper has designed a new cloud mirror control mechanism by extending the SIP protocol——transmitting the control information which is described in the XML document by the message body of INFO method. For the simple and rapid control, this paper also proposes an extension application of the DTMF.The paper first provides the overview of SIP protocol, the communication procedures, then designs and implements the sip stack called SIPStack based on the reSIProcate. Using the VeSIPStack, this paper designs and implements the video client which is not only act as a general user agent, but also can receive the MPEG-4 video and save them as a local file, but also can control the cloud mirror system according to the different accessing priority. The monitoring center system can also monitor several cloud mirror systems at the same time, changes from multiple views to signal view in a real-time.
