With the rapid development of social economy,technologies on video,information and network also have been improved significantly and mutually support each other.The railway integrated video surveillance system(IVSS)has become an important technical method for safe operation of high-speed lines and public security guarding,and the related theoretical study and engineering practice have advanced considerably,and improved with the times.The technology and application of the railway IVSS and its linkage scheme have been chosen as the topics of this paper.Careful investigations and analysis have been carried out,especially in the aspects of improving the video definition(high-definition night vision technology),refining the function of video analysis(automatic early warning),the linkages between the IVSS and safety monitoring systems.The main work and results of the paper are outlined as follows.A clear understanding of the development and current situation of the railway IVSS has been presented based on review of a large amount of references and materials.Also,Field investigation on a typical railway IVSS has been carried out.Main problems have been presented and analyzed for the IVSS of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-HongKong High-Speed Line(GSHKHSL).The reconstruction scheme for the GSHKHPL's IVSS has also been studied.The main results are as follows.(1)High definition video(High-definition night vision).The video capture points are configured with high-definition network cameras,which use night vision technology such as infrared LED lighting with low illumination frame accumulation,for meeting the requirement of 24-hour video surveillance of the railway line.(2)Encoding and compression.720 P high-definition video compression encoder can effectively reduce the demand for network bandwidth and storage capacity.The network bandwidth of a 720 p high-definition camera can be reduced to 2Mbps after compression.(3)Video analysis(automatic early warning)implementation.Study on the optimization of camera installation and video analysis parameters,for the purpose of achieving perfect performance of video analysis.Deep study has also been made for the linkage schemes between the IVSS and centralized signaling monitoring system(CSMS),disaster prevention safety monitoring system(DPSMS)and power supply dispatching system(PSDS).On the basis of summarizing the requirements of the linkage services,Linkage mechanism for the linkages between the IVSS and railway safety operation related monitoring systems.The interface scheme studied includes the following six aspects: the alarm type coding rules,the alarm information point and user coding rules,the interface structure of the communication protocol,interface signaling format,the transmission procedure of the alarm information and images in the front end linkage mode,he transmission procedure of the alarm information and images in the central linkage mode.In this paper,the technology and application of the railway IVSS and its linkage scheme have been studied.The up-to-date video technology development and engineering practice has been paid much attention to.The study results on video analysis implementation and video linkage can effectively mine the potential functions of video surveillance technology,show its roles in auxiliary railway safe operation and public security guarding,and accelerate the development process of the IVSS to the application integration,intelligent system,and standardization.
