| Withthedevelopmentofinformationprocessingandmulti-media,theoriginallow-velocityinterconnectionbuscannotmeettheneedofreal-timedatatransmissionindistributedcomputersystem.Therefore,itisverymeaningfultoexploitahigh-speedinterconnectionbusbyutilizingadvancedmodulationintheexistingsystemtomakefulluseofthechannelbandwidthsoastoreducedevelopmentcostandcycle.Inthisthesis,thecorrespondingmethodsofimplementinghigh-speedinterconnectiontechniquebusbasedonOFDMareresearched.Firstly,thefeasibilityanalysisoftheprojectonthebasisofmainsuperiorityandtheprincipleofOFDMisgiven.Then,tosolvethehighPAPRofOFDM,anadaptiveμrulecompandingalgorithmisadoptedbycomparingkindsofreleventwaysinvolvedwithcomputationspeedandcomplexity,additionally,matlabsimulationisdonewiththeparameterssetintheprojectandpipe-linearchitectureisusedtorealizethenaturelogarithmonFPGAplatformtoacceleratethecompandingmodule.Inordertoprocesshigh-ratedatastreamsampledfromA/Dintime,animprovedping-pongoperationwhichwellcoordinatessamplingandprocessingrateisdesigned.Accordingtotherequirementoftransmissionrate,inthedesignofPCIcommunicationinterface,DMAtransmissionatthespeedof100MB/sfordataexchangebetweenphysicallayerandapplicationlayerisimplementedthroughPCIbridgechipPLX9054.Finally,conclusionofthewholeessayisgivenandimprovementforfutureworkisproposed. |
