Abstract/Summary:
The stadiums are the main place for exercise and fitness. The indoor environment meets the comfort requirements from the audience and the game demands. It may have a series of impacts on the player’s physiological and psychological. The aim of the paper is to meet the needs of timeliness, integrity and remote monitoring of indoor environmental. Based on the ZigBee protocol, a wireless real-time monitoring system is designed to monitor the indoor air quality of gymnasium, which is including formaldehyde, carbon dioxide, etc, and the indoor thermal environment, such as temperature, humidity, and wind speed.The system includes a coordinator and a sensor end-node integrated warm humidity sensor, wind sensor, carbon dioxide sensor, and formaldehyde sensor. The coordinator communicates with host computer using serial interface to be responsible for data to upload the computer and receive control commands. The system is intended to be used in a star network configuration to make it more flexible and stable to establish large scale network. The system used the method of modularization, completed transfer and collection of data between sensor end-node and coordinator. The hardware circuit includes the design of peripheral circuit for CPU, the circuit for collecting signals and the power supply circuits. The design of software architecture includes network management, data transmission and hardware module driver including sensor driver and liquid crystal display drive. This study of development of the system has the performance as: Temperature: test range(-20 ℃~ 100 ℃), uncertainty ± 1℃; Humidity: test range(20 %~ 90 %), uncertainty ± 5%; Carbon dioxide: test range(0-10000ppm), uncertainty ±40 ppm; Formaldehyde: test range(0-5ppm); winds: test range(0-20m/s); Transmission distance: 250 m.With the technical proposal, the system has realized the function of collecting multi-parameters environment data in real time. It makes a difference to provide front terminal data acquisition system for the research and formulation of the examination system, assessment technology and assessment standard of the environment in gymnasiums. Because of using CC2530 and low power sensor, the power consumption of the system is very low.
