With the application development of the identity authentication system in the field of finance,enterprise and transportation,USB-KEY as a small portable authentication tools are widely used.Traditional USB-KEY uses user's name and password as the way to authenticate the user's identity,but it behaves the disadvantage of easily to leak the password and difficultly to memory.Fingerprint identification is a biometric identification mode,that avoids the shortcomings of traditional identity authentication,is widely adopted recent years.Fingerprint KEY is a USB-KEY that uses the fingerprint authentication instead of traditional authentication method.To design and develop the fingerprint KEY can extend the applications of USB-KEY and meet the need of users.This thesis stated the integral development process of Fingerprint KEY based on secure SoC chip and introduced its communication process and communication protocol in detailed,giving the development scheme for users.The scheme covered the basic functional realization of fingerprint identification.Throughout the overall of communication process,secure SoC chip as the master of the communication is responsible for sending all the communication instructions and receiving the responses from the fingerprint chip;fingerprint chip as the slave of the communication is responsible for the passively receiving communication instruction handled properly before sending to the master side.Master side and slave side communicate with each other via the UART interface.The fingerprint identification parts of the communication process transmit in encrypted-decrypted way to ensure the security of interactive communication.In the development of process,I did the debug of master side code and the PC control software code to ensure that between the PC and the fingerprint KEY side,the master and the slave inside the fingerprint KEY can communicate with each other normally,which can provide users with the overall design solution.This design has achieved the fingerprint identification field combined with USB-KEY's field,promoting the mutual development.Displaying the fingerprint image can improve security and enhance the convenience of certification.Both the master side and the slave side adopt the encrypted and decrypted way,only one each developer knows the communication way,so that the security is further improved.
