The Design Of Identity Authentication System Based On Fingerprint Identification System

This paper is about the design and realization of the fingerprint identification system. Using biological recognition technology, the system stores personal information and characteristic value of fingerprint on the IC card to carry on safer identity authentication. What's more, using the digital certificate, the system provides a safer and more convenient identity authentication way of identity authentication. The main work and contributions of the dissertation are summarized as follows:Firstly, the main control system was developed based on ARM7TDMI, some hardware modules were designed to extending the system, such as JTAG interface, serial port controller, LCD display and function key-press and so on.Secondly, data display of LCD, reading and writing of IC card, the acquirement and comparison of the fingerprint's characteristic value were researched, the program of certificate terminal was completed.Thirdly, the Data Storage Format was researched based on data centre of the identity authentication system, encryption technology such as digital signatures was studied, the application software was developed based on GUI Graphic User Interface.Fourthly, the testing and adjustment was finished. The acquirement of the fingerprint, uploading the character to centre of ID certificates and sending information to IC card were completed, so it could achieve the online and offline comparison of fingerprint.The paper ends up with some problems in the process of the system's research and development, and expects the future work and development of the Identity Authentication System Based on Fingerprint Identification System.
