In the past 18 years,Internet of Things has become the information of the physical industrial revolution of the pronoun,and to achieve all things connected to the scene is no longer far away,as one of the key technologies of the radio frequency identification technology has also ushered in the development of the spring,has become a global university and scientific research institutions of the hot spots,while radio frequency identification technology is also a bar code technology through electromagnetic coupling to achieve non-contact automatic identification technology.Because RFID technology has long-range non-contact identification,permanent storage,reusable,penetrating,low cost,small size and other characteristics;so more and more RFID products applied to our daily life and work,such as the district Access control system,warehouse management,logistics tracking,etc.;but it is precisely because the application of radio frequency identification technology more and more widely,the application of the environment has become increasingly complex,the performance requirements of RFID tags are getting higher and higher,then for RFID The performance of the test of tag performance has become particularly urgent.So for the improvement of RFID system performance testing has become the focus of the application of radio frequency identification technology.In this paper,we abstracted four important performance indicators from some commonly RFID tags application scenes,which are the distance between the tag safety distance,the maximum reading range of the tag,the impact of different materials on the performance of the tag and the impact of EPC protocol parameters on tag performance.After a comprehensive analysis of these four performance indicators,the design of a UHF commercial RFID tag read performance test program,and through the test program to test the tag of the above four performance indicators.The test scheme is mainly in the indoor environment will be four different types of tags and other spacers attached to the same medium,through the interval between the tag and the tag reflected back to the signal strength changes in the relationship between the tag to determine the safe separation distance;Each type of tag is attached to wood,plastic,paper,three media to test the performance of each tag in three kinds of materials performance;by changing the distance between the tag and the reader antenna to test the maximum tag read Range;the last way to modify the reader and the tag of the reverse link coding method to test the different coding methods on the performance of the tag.The test results show that the performance of the tag is not the same under different media.The performance of the tag is proportional to the relative permittivity of the medium.The actual performance of the tag,such as the maximum communication range of the tag and the theoretical reference provided by the tag supplier,Of the difference,so the user must be careful when using the discretion;the other side of the reverse link using Miller4 encoding when the tag read the best performance.The test system can test the true performance of the tag,not only to the user in the choice of tags to provide appropriate reference recommendations,and which has a very good guiding significance for tag production and application.
