Radio frequency identification(RFID),as a kind of novel non-contact automatic identification technology,has many advantages including long reading distance,fast transmission rate and multitudinous reading.RFID system has been widely applied in logistics supply chain,intelligent traffic,production automation,retail and some other fields.However,the reading performance and speed of RFID are interfered by many interference factors in complex application environment.The research has important practical value for RFID by studying the influence of multiple tags distribution on the reading performance.The channel capacity of RFID system could be improved via antenna selection technique.The reading performance and reading rate of RFID tags could be measured automatically by photoelectric sensors.Firstly,the parts of the internet of thing(IOT)and the photoelectric sensor,as an important means to obtain external information,are discussed.Then,the different applications of photoelectric sensors in the IOT are introduced from several different aspects.On this basis,RFID technology,as the key technologies of the IOT,is introduced.The theory of RFID multiple tags communication is analyzed from the overview and anti-collision technology of RFID system.Secondly,the channel model of RFID-MIMO system is established based on the anti-collision mechanism of RFID multiple tags multiple readers.In this method,the CRB of different number of tags is simulated.Meanwhile,the relationship between the CRB of multiple tags' distribution and the reading performance is studied.Moreover,a quantitative index of optimization is proposed by multiple tags analysis.The feasibility of this method is verified by comparing the optimal and the suboptimal antenna selection technique.Finally,a semi-physical platform about RFID reading performance is designed based on the theories of photoelectric sensor,multiple tags anti-collision,multiple tags' distribution and RFID-MIMO system.The experiment verification of relevant theory is realized by testing the dynamic performance of single-tag and the multi-tag systems respectively.This study provides an effective reference for the application of photoelectric sensor and optimization for RFID reading performance.
