With the increasing number of the mobile terminals, and the growing need of high-speed services such as video services,a single wireless communication technology can no longer meet the user demand.LTE and WLAN are two kinds of wireless network technology which have different characteristics in terms of coverage, throughput, overhead and mobility support.Through the integration of LTE and WLAN network, users can get the benefits of the two technologies at the same time.As one of the newest integration sheme,LWA uses eNB as anchor point to offload part of LTE traffic to WLAN.In this paper,we mainly do protocol design and algorithm enhancement based on LWA architecture to realize efficient traffic offloading. We firstly propose a new MAC multiplexing scheme for heterogeneous network. The new method can avoid high-priority split bearers occupying non-split bearers' uplink transmission resources. Then, based on the characteristics of LWA,a distributed access point selection method, called ACSM.is proposed, which considers the LWA capability of the corresponding eNB in the selection of LTE cell.Through the improvement of TOPSIS,the ACSM can satisfy the user's various preference under the LWA scene. Finally, this paper also studies the method of bandwidth allocation in heterogeneous network,we build up different utility models for different services. Our method can get the optimal bandwidth allocation scheme using limited number of iterations and signaling between network and users.LWA system simulation platform is also built in this paper to simulate the algorithms.
