| University Archives is an important part of the Party and State Archives, precious historical and cultural wealth. It is closely related to College construction, personnel training, scientific research and management. Use of archives in colleges and universities is a key link to undertake within and outside the University Archives contact, and it is related to realization of archives value. Its importance is obvious. To enhance the level of use of archives in colleges and universities to fully meet the needs of those who play the role of archives in colleges and universities must be adequate research on Archives utilization in colleges and universities. First of all, starting from the archives of several often used, discussing university archives play an important role in the process of day-to-day scientific research, teaching and management,and the author explicitly the necessity of studying the use of archives in colleges and universities. Secondly, taking Fuzhou University City of F, and S University for cases, full compared F and S university archives work status by researching, accessing, summarizing and analyzing, focus highlight on the of status and problem, and analysis of the causes of the problem from the archive system, advocacy, funding, staff and utilization of archives information asymmetries. Finally, the author recommends that the University Archives (RM) should strengthen the construction of Archives staff, emphasizing staff "and simultaneously"; instead of "waiting for service," exploring on the basis of proactive services is more advocated; collecting archives in colleges and universities completely and building characteristic archives resources, combining traditional and modern ways of utilization of archival documents and improving utilization levels. Based on the above multipronged measures, those will helpful to promote the utilization of archives in colleges and universities, and to fully realize the value of archive resources in University. |
