With the rapid development of digital technology and network technology, the rapid development of new media, the current has entered the era of the whole media. As the traditional media of academic journals in the traditional publishing mode of editing and publishing cycle long, slow process of information transmission, single form of service defects completely unmasked, the outlook is not optimistic.This paper mainly adopts the method of questionnaire, expert interviews, comparative analysis, case study method, mathematical statistics method, the current situation of China's sports academic journals are analyzed, and to explore the development strategy of Chinese Sports Periodicals in media era.Main research conclusions are:(1) The traditional publishing model of sports academic journals in the digital and network tide, faces enormous challenges and pressures, but the impact of the media age but also to the traditional sports academic journals in China provides new opportunities for development.(2) The development of sports academic journals in China is slow. From the institutional point of view, the editorial department of small scale, geographical dispersion, weak competitiveness; From the content and column setting, comprehensiveness, homogeneity, single form, subject boundary is not clear, journal features, style is not obvious; the degree of internationalization from the point of view, the journal internationalization degree is very low, and the overseas communication is not optimistic. Seriously affect the international academic influence; From the perspective of process intensification, especially slow, still stuck in the idea level, almost no attempt substantial; From the digital and network point of view, sports academic journals in China are still far away from the requirements of the all media era; From the publishing mode and operating mode, also is a traditional, single linear process, there is no good to carry out marketing business; From the source of funds, the funds mainly by the higher authorities to grant, fee income, income distribution, layout advertising revenue and project funds, but the operating conditions of sports academic journals in China is poor, the vast majority of funding mainly by higher authorities.(3) In the context of media convergence, in order to adapt to the development of domestic and foreign outstanding academic journals such as "natural" (Nature), "Chinese laser" "Zhejiang University Journal of Social Sciences" "sports and health science", from international, intensive, digital and network and other aspects of academic journals made beneficial exploration and attempt, and has made a lot of valuable reference and successful experience.(4) The application and development of traditional Chinese sports journals must actively participate in all media, efforts to build a new pattern of media operation, so as to obtain the maximum economic and social benefits the new benefit in the current competitive environment in the. Specific strategies are:seize the opportunity, firmly grasp the policy guidance; to strengthen the reform of institutional mechanisms, improve the matching rules and measures; emancipate the mind, change the idea; to strengthen the alliance, take intensive publishing road; precise positioning, content is king; reconstruction process, establish a multimedia publishing platform; rich communication form, expand communication channels; to improve editorial quality, strengthen the cultivation of talents; the innovation of marketing, marketing activities; actively strive to increase capital investment; improve the copyright consciousness, strengthen the academic norm;...
