In recent years,the traditional paper media has been lashed by the Internet and other electronic media continues to increase.Its right gradually decline when competing and cooperating with new media.Despite its increasing number and variety of publications,market share has been declining.Paper publications urgently need to tap their own advantages,to dislocate,to seek a breakthrough,and to be complementary with new media.It requires practitioners of paper media to update their ideas and work creatively.Performance appraisal is the most powerful lever to mobilize staff motivation and shaping behavior,therefore a perfect performance appraisal system can guide the staff to improve their work skills,optimize links such as audit,proofreading,editing and publishing links and finally improve the quality and authority of paper media,consolidate and expand the readership.Due to the historical factors and institutional influence,A magazine as a traditional media is characteristic of lack of awareness of performance management,low degree of scientific performance management process,evaluation index of poor oriented incentive,therefore a specialized research for the magazine's performance management system to is important and meaningful to improve A magazine's survival and development capacity in the media integration environment.The article has four parts in total.Firstly,the article has introduced the theory of performance management,performance management processes and methods.Secondly,the article explored the problems of magazine performance management,which include the lack of performance management content,the lack of performance management aspects,employee take part in the performance management in low level,assessment indicators unreasonable and improper use of the results of performance assessment.Thirdly,proposed a performance index system based on the combined method between balanced scorecard method and key performance from four aspects includes organization key indicators,department key performance indicators,employee performance management,key performance indicators and other metrics.Fourth,Established a complete performance management scheme of 5 link set includes performance plan,performance tutorship,performance assessment,performance feedback,application of performance results and performance improvement.Finally,established safeguards for the implementation of performance management from four aspects,which include performance management culture full awareness,establish performance management culture;improve the examination system and the establishment.
