The Study Of Metadata Standard And Application Of Guangxi Minority Clothing Resource

Minority clothing is precious intangible cultural heritage of our country which are facing problems of missing gradually 、 lacking digital protection and digital applications. So it is particularly significant in establishing resource databases to protect and inherit them. Metadata standard is the base to build digital resource database, and it is also the key for resource database to achieve application functionality. It is different for metadata application in various fields. This paper focused on the study of metadata standard and application of Guangxi minority clothing.Developing metadata standard of Guangxi minority clothing resource database is to make a metadata description of digital resource of Guangxi minority clothing. The digital resource here includes articles、images、videos、audios、vector files which using as recycled resources and so on, which could explain Guangxi minority clothing culture from multiple angles, can help users understand cultures of minority clothing comprehensively and inherit、utilize and develop them. Through literature research and inductive analysis in related fields, this paper put forward the value and significance of the topic firstly, introduced types of Guangxi minority clothing resources. Through analyzing metadata standard related in minority clothing at home and aboard, referring to national standard, organizing unique contents of Guangxi minority clothing deeply, interviewing experts and scholars, we started from the experiences of database users, using research methods of interaction design, to conducted in-depth research and analysis in users’ demand of Guangxi minority clothing resource database and interactive experiences. We get a set of programs of metadata standard suitable to this database and which is certainly interoperable. Based on this program of metadata and experiences from users, we apply this to the design and develop of resource database, design resources platform website of their contents、information architecture、interactive interface and so on, and finally get it on line. At last, design creative cultural products of Guangxi minority clothing from using the resource platform.
