Research Of Website Interface Design Based On User Experience

The era of experience economy is coming,user experience is becoming one of theimportant criteria for a wonderful website interface design. Nowadays website interfacedesign has made great progress in terms of theory and practice,lots of outstanding caseshave made as well, but the concept of "user-centered" cannot fully reflected in some websiteinterface design.At first, through the research of related theories and methods about user experiencedesign, user research methods of website interface design are definited, and the process ofwebsite interface design based on user experience is put forward. Secondly interactiondesign about website interface are studied, based on the combination of many fields oflearning, such as cognitive psychology, color psychology, lattice tower psychology and so on,each factor influence website interface is analysed respectively, from users’ visual experience,interactive experience and emotional experience, principles and methods for websiteinterface design based on user experience are explored.Thirdly principles and methods usedfor evaluation of website interface design based on user experience are proposed, andproblems in feedbacks from user experience are solved. Finally, the rationality of websiteinterface design methods and evaluation methods are validated through application in Xi’anpolytechnic university industrial design research center. Contributions to related theory aremade,and ideas for website interface design are provided. Details are as follows:In chapter1, the research background，current situation，purpose and significance werefully discussed, and based on these, research methods and overall framework of this paperwas analyzed.In chapter2, methods for user needs, user modeling, information acquisition of userexperience are studied, influence factors of user experience were analyzed, and the processfor website interface design based on the user experience were proposed.In chapter3, firstly the basic theory of the website interface design were introduced;Secondly website interface design are studied from users’ visual experience, interactiveexperience and emotional experience, based on the combination of many fields of learning, such as cognitive psychology, color psychology, lattice tower psychology and so on.It’sincludes three main aspects, website interface text, graphics, color, typography analysis,website navigation interface metaphor and interactive analysis; website interesting andhumane interface analysis. Preparisons for the proposion of principles and methods used forwebsite interface design based on user experience of were made.In chapter4, based on the acquisition in chapter3, principles and methods for websiteinterface design based on user experience were proposed from user’s visual experience,interactive experience, emotional experience respectively, mainly included three aspects:website interface text, graphics, color, format design principles and methods, websiteinterface metaphor and navigation design principles and methods, website interface isinteresting and the principle and method of humanized design.In chapter5,methods and principles for the assessment of website interface designbased on the user experience, and as well problems in assessment classification were putforward.In chapter6, theories proposed above were put into application. Based on websiteinterface design process and user research method in chapter2, and website interface designmethods and principles in chapter4, considering the function and characteristics of Xi’anpolytechnic university industrial design research center, website opening design andinterface design were accomplished, and two solutions were put forward. Evaluationmethods put forward in chapter5were used in the second scheme, and the evaluation resultsshowed that the prototypes can be smoothly achieved, the rationality of the method proposedin this paper were proved.In chapter7, achievements, innovations and shortcomings in this paper weresummarized, and the next research work were cleared.
