TV show is the crystallization of technology and art. As the latest science and technology, big data and its technology have the wide and profound impact to contents of the TV show on many aspects in a few short years when it has been proposed to the development.On the one hand, TV journalism and communication circles to the prospect of big data is full of optimism and confidence, thinking big data has become a breakthrough in the development of TV industry transformation and will be conducive to the innovation of TV programs, enriching the content of TV programs, and increasing public participation TV show enthusiasm, effectively promoting the development of TV programs. Big data, on the other hand, its commercial value orientation, to meet the demand of audience low-level, led TV media quite a controversy with a high degree of vigilance. The paper attempts to from the perspective of Media Ecology discusses the big data, and deflection of technology's impact of towards the TV content production, for providing support and assistance in which the TV media deal with the impact and challenge of the era of large data.The paper is mainly divided into three parts: “thick description” and “theoretical discourse” and “reflect and summarize”.First of all, on a macro basis, internal and external environment of big data era TV content production is analyzed and illustrated. On the micro level of the TV process of production, the process of TV content production is divided into four stages: TV program planning, TV program manufacture, TV program evaluation, marketing programs on television, separately making a statement for each stage data impact on television.Then, according to the Media Ecology knowledge, the paper analyzes that the application of big data in TV production cause the positive and negative effects. The positive effects which the big data to promote television program innovation is affirmed, namely the audience participation, content will be more rich, closer cooperation will be strengthen between the main body program production and program development of television get attention. At the same time, the negative effects will be pointed out which the technology of data on the damage of TV programs, new inequality cause of digital divide, TV audience's privacy is being violated.Finally, in view of the above problem, the paper put forward optimization path of TV content production under the background of big data, consider that we should give full play to the positive influence of the big data of television production promotion, improve accomplishment of television producer, deepen understanding the big data influence on TV program production, build big data using ethical system, perfect the relevant supporting mechanisms.
