With the development of digital image acquisition and transmission technology, high speed imaging system will be more and more widely used in scientific research, transportation, aerospace and other fields. In recent years,with the increasing investment in high speed imaging system, the imaging technology is developing rapidly, and the research and application of high speed imaging system are also actively in China. However the large amout of data of digital image collecting and real-time transmission will consume a lot of processing and transmission bandwidth. Therefore, research on key technologies of high speed imaging system become more and more important.This paper is focus on remote transmission imaging system and high speed communication, based on Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA, efforts to solve the high speed imaging system in the large amount of data remote, real-time and efficient transmission and communciation, which provided a basis for the further researches about it. This paper mainly includes the following aspects:Firstly, the system overview scheme was made on the base of analysis of key technologies about the imaging system, design the communication backend unit, which acquisition the image data of 10 Gbps SFP+ remote transmission and exchange DMA real-time communication through the PCIE interface.Secondly, The structure of system hardware was analyzed. The imaging control and transmission board of Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA. Completed the design of SFP+ communication interface module, data cache module, PCIE communication interface module and describes the overall system hardware.Thirdly, this paper use two chapters describe SFP+ digital image remote transmission and PCIE communication system,This paper also analyzed the system software architecture, which is composed of FPGA hardware logic design and visualisation software design, and the FPGA hardware logic design is consist of data cache module and data transmission module.In this paper, the introduction of high performance FPGA chips, high-speed and high-capacity RAM cache and PCIE bus interface made possible manufacture of high speed imaging system.The experiment results show that the high speed imaging system and its local modules are realizable and effective, which laid a solid foundation for the further researches.
