Cloud computing is becoming more and more important, it not only promotes the technological innovation of information industry, but also promotes a series of innovation and development of related industry. "Cloud" is not just the technology itself, but a service concept, a delivery and usage patterns that to obtain the required services through the network in an on-demand, easily extend way, this concept guides the practice of cloud computing in various fields.At the same time, education publishing in China is in a period of developing and transforming, except the problem of deficient content resources, inappropriate operational mode, unclearly positioning, etc, the change of all parties environment forcing education publishing companies to seek a new path of development, only transformating and upgrading can achieve sustainable development. Duing to cloud computing can help to slove those problem, and can also explore new business areas, increase competition strength. It's a very important thing for education publishing company that explore the pattern of transformation and upgradation of Education Publishing based on cloud computing, which as a technical means. The study of this subject has both practical significance and academic value.In this paper, firstly, analyzing the necessity of the transformation and upgradation of education publishing, and getting knowledge of its background. Through discussing all aspects of publishing communication changed by cloud computing concept, finding the combination point between cloud computing and education publishing, to theoretically prove the feasibility of the application of Cloud Computing in education publishing field. And then, following the idea——from practice analysis to theory refining, as a example of Chongqing University Press, by analysising it's digital transformation model, Dipub Media model, to sum up the experience and shortage of digital transformation of Chongqing University Press. Finally,basing on the conclusion of case analysis and combining with the related theory of cloud computing and publishing communication, this article will exploratory build a integrated, innovated and developed education publishing model which based on cloud computing, to improve and complement transformation mode of Chongqing University Press, and solve the problems of it, meanwhile, to provide a new thought of development for other education press.
