Tourism is one of the important industries in our country, its cultural property is bright,and the development tendency is strong. Economy, tourism income and the number of tourists have maintained a steady and fast growth rate. Culture, China's tourism industry is a cultural industry, strong relevance, as one of the important part of the tourism books have also been prosperity and development. In the vigorous development of the back, the reader's needs are satisfied, whether the tourism books have a profound cultural character,bearing the responsibility of inheritance, this is the question this paper wants to explore.Based on this understanding, this paper describes the current status of tourism and cultural tourism books books in the introduction; the second chapter from the perspective of selection and market, comprehensive overview of the status and trends of the current tourism book publishing industry in China; the third chapter is the related concept of tourism books and cultural character definition and analysis of culture the character in tourism performance in the book; the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter analyzes the possible tourism book publishing in China in the cultural character of the current problems and explore the corresponding reasons; the sixth chapter of the book to enhance tourism cultural character of recommendations; at the end of book publishing in China's tourism prospects are summarized and prospect.The purpose of this study is the cultural character of the travel book publishing were comprehensive discussion, find the existing problems, and put forward suggestions for improvement, in order to make such books can better meet the needs of the readers, and realize their social value, promote tourism and tourism books market quality, and ultimately to promote the building of cultural tourism in our country.
