At present, the construction of the university library began to develop in the direction of high quality and high level, and the qualification of the university library staff has increasingly highlighted its important position. But in China most of the colleges and universities library jobholders overall quality and level remain uneven, and the university teachers strength gap obvious and in random, brain drain and talent shortage coexist, poor classification, evaluation and incentive mechanism is not scientific, overall showed similar to the social public library staff work, difficult to achieve to provide protection for the discipline construction in the university and good library management. So many researchers put forward the mode of professional qualification system. So far, libraries but has yet to establish a corresponding professional qualification system, which makes the University Library of our country is also a lack of a complete vocational qualification system and society have began to focus on professional qualification system of Library in the construction of many research institutions and personnel, theorists carried out a lot of library research and discussion about professional qualification system. Generally speaking, it has become agreement on establishing professional qualification system, but it is not enough in depth study. In view of this, the article choose the university library professional qualification system as the core research object.First,based on the analysis of previous research results, this paper summarizes the relevant theories about the professional qualification system of the library, and points out the necessity of the establishment of the vocational qualification system of university library. At the same time, through the questionnaire survey and the interview also found, in China's colleges and universities library vocation qualifications system achieve process will face four main problems including policy system support, construction of organization system, establish a standardized system and guarantee system of sustainable development. So we should be on the basis of the principle of step by step, adaptation to local conditions, general and special. And then it's on the premise of preparation in advance, policy and system design. We need to strengthen the construction of supporting policies continuously, complete organization system, unify the standard, trial spread, evaluate timely and improve guarantee system. By doing them, it'll help university library go toward specialization and professionalization. The research of this paper is a beneficial exploration for the realization of the university library professional qualification system, which has good practical significance for guiding and constructing the realization path of the professional qualification system of University Library in our country.
