Large, complex and valuable equipment of wireless remote monitoring system is an important part of engineering intelligent management. This real-time remote monitoring system have wide coverage wireless transmission technology, it can easy to load equipment information. Combing with a wireless remote monitoring system which has expandable requirements,the following researches are carried out.After comparing the merit and demerit of multiple communication methods, GSM has been decided to be used as a remote communication media. GSM can cover a wide range of area and meet the needs of wide driving range of marine. At last, this research use relevant communication module combine with ARM processor to build communication system and use the same module combine with computer to build monitoring main station. Communication system is used to collect messages about the operating status of equipment and transfer it and then monitoring main station receives the above messages. After finish the design of the system hardware, we use MDK software to write program for collecting, packing and sending operating parameters as well as fault message for engineering equipment. Information processing system for monitoring host and monitoring interface are programmed by VC++ the above-mentioned monitoring parameters are transmitted by indicator light and message on screen, hence, intellective level of engineering management is raised.Popular price, easy manipulation and big signal coverage makes the system suitable for monitoring mobile or stationary equipment.
