Gas-fired infrared radiant heater is one of the advanced heating equipments. It is a low intensity radiant heater and mostly employed in high space buildings. At present, most of the radiant heating burners have their own controller for one to one, but for the spaces which are large and need lots of burners for heating, this one to one control maybe not flexible enough and low efficiency. Based on this, this paper design a multipath controller which implemented one controller control more than one burner, and while increasing remote monitoring, historic records, Real-time alarm functions. It makes the control more convenient and flexible, and need nobody waiting, cost-saving.An overall and thorough study on radiant heating controller is given in this paper. The descriptions of the situation, advantages and prospects of gas radiant heating; the source, practical significance, advantage and prospects of issues are given in chapter one. The chapter two described the hardware design of the embedded controller in detail, including the general design of the hardware circuits and each specific part of the circuit. And at last, the test plan of the system and the main conclusions are stated. System software design and debugging method are given in chapter three. In chapter four, the design of computer control system which based on FIX configuration software has been introduced detailedly including function and use of FIX configuration and monitoring system. The last summarizes the research results in this paper.According to the actual requirements, the control circuit will simultaneously control up to 20 radiation burners to regulate the temperature within the region. It can constitute a bus type of computer monitoring system depend on RS-485 interface, and it is with local sound and light alarm functions, and while the fault information will be sent to the computer system and be recorded. The user also could set the target temperature through operating field controller or remote monitoring system.
