Scientists academic genealogy is a new research direction of science history field, scholars used history or methods of sociology of science, to academic heritage as a clue to draw academic pedigree, comb the academic heritage context. It is based on bibliometric, introducted the scale of academic pedigree influence, Constructing the method to study and evaluate academic genealogy by two dimensions of academic reproduction ability and academic influence, improving existing academic genealogy quantitative evaluation system, enriching the academic pedigree research and evaluation methods. At the same time, the study adopted the improved h index--w index as a measure of main indicators of the scholar's academic influence and overcome the results of repeated measures, and the lost results.Firstly, this paper is based on Carding the origin, development and current situation of genealogy,academic genealogy and scientist academic genealogy and bibliometrics methods, putting forward to explore new ideas and methods system of science academic genealogy research scientist based on bibliometric methods.Then, on the basis of Russell et al, the academic influence evaluation indicators of academic genealogy is introducted, constructing the method to study and evaluate academic genealogy by two dimensions of academic reproduction ability and academic influence, improving existing academic genealogy quantitative evaluation system.
