Research On The Influence Evaluation Of Academic Monographs Of "Sanlian Harvard-Yenching Academic Series"

Academic evaluation refers to the evaluation of academic contributions,academic innovation,academic value,academic impact,social impact,application value,and economic benefits on academic achievements.It is an important part of academic communication.Academic evaluation can promote the collaboration and knowledge sharing among scholars,guide the continuous progress of academic research activities,improve the innovation ability of academic circles and the overall academic research level,and play a vital role in academic development.In the current academic evaluation research,the research on academic journals and academic papers is more comprehensive,while the academic book evaluation is relatively less researched.The theoretical foundation of academic book evaluation is weak,and the research methods and evaluation standards are still controversial.Therefore,the research on the influence evaluation system of academic books is of great significance.SDX Joint Publishing Company has a tradition of academic publishing since its establishment.SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library is the core publication of SDX Joint Publishing Company's academic publishing.Therefore,this article takes the SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library as the research object.Firstly,this article describes the origin of SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library,and analyzes the publication time,subject distribution,and reprinting of the books.Secondly,this research selects indexes based on the principles of scientificity,comprehensiveness and operability,combining the existing academic evaluation research results and according to the characteristics of the SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library.From three dimensions:acquisition,communication,and application of books,This research selected 8 indexes——Duxiu accession record,WorldCat accession record,Book scores on Douban.com,the popularity of books on Douban.com,the number of book reviews on Douban.com,the number of academic book reviews,citations of papers,citations of books,to establish an academic book influence evaluation system,and analyze the feasibility of each indexes.The author used Duxiu.com,WorldCat,Douban.com,CNKI.net and China Citation Database as data sources to collect relevant information of the SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library to complete the data sheet.This article uses the CRITIC to determine the weight of each index,and calculate the score of each evaluation object,and the results are sorted to obtain the ranking of the books in the SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library.Finally,the author analyzes the distribution of each index data and the correlation between the evaluation indicators,and believes that citation and Altmetrics independently reflect the influence of different levels of academic books.Altmetrics can reflect the heat and influence of the academic books in time,which supplements the citation.Based on the evaluation results,this article analyzes the high-impact books in the SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library.This article provides new ideas for the influence evaluation of academic book and explores the influence evaluation system of academic book.This study conducts the influence of academic books systematically and comprehensively.In addition,the experience of academic publishing of SDX&Harvard Yenching Academic Library is summarized.Based on the research process and research results,this article looked to the suggestions for the influence evaluation of academic book.
