Wireless communication technology transfer speed has been greatly improved in the 4G era, LTE wireless communication system transmission rate theory based on frequency division multiple access technology can reach the peak value of 150Mbps. In order to support higher quality data transmission requirements, reduce redundant data transmission and improve the utilization of wireless bandwidth,3 GPP proposed data header compression algorithm in the PDCP layer of the LTE system layer, which can compressed packets of 40 bytes to 4-7 bytes IPv4 header.Firstly, this paper analyzes the various data header compression algorithm, in-depth study of ROHC header compression algorithm according to the needs of the system, in order to improve the data rate and reduce packet header compression for transmission, The state transfer mechanism and W_LSB coding are discussed in detail in this paper. Based on the wireless network environment premise of high bit error rate and high latency, a series of methods are proposed to implement the algorithm on LwIP. Secondly, the upper layer transfer application program is designed. With zynq7000 based on Xilinx as the hardware foundation and LwIP embedded network protocol stack as the software foundation can achieve a specific hardware system in inter network communication link. Contrast with the third layer exchange technology between cross segment method, the design scheme of the upper layer transmission software is optimized in this paper, which can improve the data transmission rate and data processing ability effectively. Furthermore, in order to improve the flexibility of the wireless transmission system and improve the data processing ability to make the system can adapt to different environments, the dynamic reconfiguration technology of FPGA based on Xilinx is also referred in this paper. Combined with parameter configuration design method, the parameters of each module are proposed in the existing wireless transmission system and the corresponding upper computer and lower computer program are designed.In the end, the ROHC algorithm and the upper level transmission software are combined to the existing wireless transmission system, bidirectional transmission of voice and video images is completed. Tests show that ROHC algorithm can effectively reduce the amount of data transmission and improve the quality of data transmission. The upper application can effectively improve the data forwarding efficiency; parameter configuration software can effectively complete the configuration task.
