Currently,wireless network communications are widely developed around the world,promoting the development of various services based on the TCP/IP communication protocol.When developing IP services on wireless networks,the overhead problem of TCP/IP communication protocols has long been criticized by the communication industry.Because the narrowband communication link resources are very limited,the huge overhead of the IP header will reduce the resource utilization of IP traffic(especially in multimedia streaming)in the network.IP header compression technology is a good solution to compress the protocol headers and reduce network overhead.But all current IP header compression technologies are point-to-point mode,which acts on one-hop links.For example,when ROHC(Robust Header Compression),which is widely used in wireless networks,implements an end-to-end full compression path in a multi-hop network,it must adopt the method of decompression and recompression on a hop-by-hop basis,which has low efficiency,slow operation,and high energy consumption.Therefore,this paper studies a new IP compression scheme based on wireless selforganized multi-hop environment.First,a new end-to-end ROHC header compression path is established through the multi-hop transmission method.Then establish a fast negotiation mechanism to ensure that ROHC's association identifier CID meets the requirements of global uniqueness.Finally,the intermediate forwarder determines the next hop forwarding path according to the identified CID.Therefore,in addition to reducing the occupation of wireless resources,it can also speed up forwarding.This article first introduces the development of header compression technology,and then extracts a robust ROHC header compression scheme through the comparison of traditional compression algorithms.Then proposes an end-to-end ROHC global compression architecture for the common problems of ROHC in wireless ad hoc networks,such as low efficiency and large energy consumption,and elaborates on CID negotiation and ROHC compressed frame forwarding.Finally,the experimental simulation results show that whether the channel conditions are good or the bit error rate is high,the end-toend ROHC global compression scheme proposed in this paper improves forwarding efficiency and reduces node energy consumption in a multi-hop wireless ad hoc network,which proves that the new IP end-to-end provided by this article effectiveness of a compressed transmission system.
