The Design And Implementation Of Postgraduate Integrated Information System—Cultivation Management And Degree Management

Recently, the universities in our country have begun to implement and promote the information construction, especially in terms of postgraduate education. However, with the continuous expansion of postgraduate enrollment and the diversified development of cultivation mode, the existing information system cannot meet the postgraduate cultivating and teaching management. Therefore, how to use information technology to improve the management level of postgraduate students has become an urgent problem to be solved in the current stage of university information construction.This thesis focused on the design and development process of the Postgraduate Integrated Information System, including enrollment management, cultivation management, degree management, graduation management and school work management module. Among these modules, the thesis elaborated functional requirements of the cultivation management and degree management module, which utilized UML to model the system structure. At the same time, we designed the function and structure of these two modules and analyzed the test case of some modules. Finally, we summarized not only the advantages and disadvantages of this system, but also the optimization work in the future.The system adopted object-oriented development method and the SSH framework to implement the MVC design pattern; the background exploitation of which used Java language and the foreground interface was based on the exploitation of Extjs. This system was able to integrate and manage the businesses of the postgraduate enrollment, cultivation, degree, graduation and so on. Moreover, it provided service to students and teachers and carried out various professional work depending on the different roles and permissions which achieved the whole process tracking service from admission to graduation, so as to ensure the quality of postgraduate training and promote the management of postgraduate students standardization and scientific.
