Research And Development Of WEB_Based Postgraduate Diploma Management System

As an important component of the Postgraduate Integrate Management System at Xi'an University of Technology, the diploma management system is very helpful to promote the administration of postgraduates.While developing this system, the author explored some key techniques such as software architecture, software component, XML and Web Services. By using UML, the work flow and requirement of a diploma management system was analyzed and then, designed and coded a web based diploma management system for postgraduates, a postgraduate management portal and a postgraduate database based on SQL Server. These systems have been put into practical use and proved to be highly useful.This paper described the work the author had done, and discussed the analysis, design and deployment of the postgraduate management system, and the portal in detail.
