Coke oven is a unique structure of industrial furnace,with large-time delay,big inertia,nonlinear, variable parameters and so on.Temperature is the most important parameter of the coke oven heating process control,and temperature control is the core of coke oven control.Considering all kinds of interference conditions,it is important to ensure the temperature stability of coke oven.Which is important for improving the quality of coke,to achieve energy-saving and emission-reduction,improve economic efficiency and extend the life of the oven.First this paper introduces the development history of coke oven temperature control, research status and its production process. According to the characteristics of coke oven itself, after analysis of various identification method,the experiment platform is directly produced by the coke oven production process. Using the least square method to identify the input and output data from the flied of coke oven, that is,the coke oven temperature and the gas flow,the method of their relationship is obtained.The identification method has many advantages, especially avoids the analysis of the complex operation mechanism of coke oven,which makes the model more easily. Based on the model, a generalized predictive controller is designed in this paper.In view of the large amount of computation,as well as the possible pathological data and other issues,I put forward some improved generalized predictive control algorithm.The MATLAB simulation shows that the control algorithm has many good control performance: the algorithm is better than PID control in the dynamic and static performance,anti-jamming and so on. Generalized predictive control model accuracy has low demand. A variety of method forms can be used as a predictive model.Finally,the proposed control scheme is applied to the SUPCON DCS-JX-300 XP system as a platform for application in coke oven.This paper lists the configuration pictures such as flow chart,control configuration flue temperature trend before and after the operation and the curve of temperature.By comparing the temperature before and after the operation. The results show that the control method can effectively control the temperature of coke oven,stable operation,which has achieved a good effect in the field application.
