In the summer of 2005, a Reality TV called "super girl" made China's TV screen extremely hot. Since then, similar programs followed and played on the stage successfully year by year. Perhaps from the day Reality TVs were born, they were destined to be the darling of the TV screen and the focus of the scholars-study.However, when we retrospect these high rating and high spotted new programs, it is easy to figure out that there is a serious homogenization issue in the content, form position and style. Chinese Reality TV is facing an unpredictable innovative dilemma.This article provides innovation directions and strategy guidelines for Chinese reality TV from the angle of mechanism innovation and exploration.This article focuses on the mechanism of the Reality TV. Compared to the research of media system, mechanism pertains to the research of the middle view,which reflects the systematic problem of the macroscopic view and explicates varies phenomenon of the microcosmic view. This article, based on the mechanism innovation and inspired by the communication, economics, sociology and relevant theories, combs and integrates the characteristics and types of Reality TV, pointing out that good mechanism safeguard is needed in innovating the type of programs and fusing the program features. Then proceeding with the background, the present situation and the developing trend of China's reality show mechanism innovation, this article combines historical research and comparative study and makes up for the inadequacy of the existing mechanism innovation theory.The originality of this article is generalizing and summarizing the research results of the domestic reality show on the mechanism level, and refining mechanism innovative theory with Chinese characteristics by analyzing The Voice of China as a case. Description of the theoretical idea and direction, case analysis of a practical level, in addition to enhance the understanding of television media system, more to encourage China's TV industry and academia to meditate how to make a breakthrough in the mechanism level, and escape the mechanic dilemma of inefficiency, lack of creativity and vitality. Description of theories and analysis of real cases provide a deep understanding of TV media system and also inspire the Chinese TV industry practitioners and academic community to think how to get away from the mechanism predicament which lacks efficiency, creativity and vitality. It is amission, which is a long way to go, for the TV media industry to set up an innovative mechanism that is suitable for its development, innovation and profit-making.
