Design And Development Of The Integration Between ERP And BPM For The Production And Operation Business Integration

In this thesis, a series of bottleneck problems between the production and operation management due to the separation of production and management business are resolved by proposing the business integration needs and execution policy. The ERP / BPM system integration mode is proposed as a business integration tool to optimize the business bottlenecks, increase the business transfer efficiency, and improve the capabilities of product quality control, the resource availability planning,the outsourcing production regulation, and the cash flow management.The main research contents include:(1) The production and operation management businesses are considered as a whole research field. The organic integration between production activities and management activities are researched by proposing the business integration strategy and implementation methods to achieve the enterprise plan drafting from macro to micro as a closed loop, the dynamic management analysis of the production business,the complete traceability of the history business information. The adoption of information technology can smooth the convergence of business processes and share the integration business information which is also organized for the multi-dimensional management decision support. The business processes of the enterprise are also designed and optimized by this procedure.(2) The architecture and the technology of information system integration are researched respectively. The interactive information of the production and management businesses among the TDM, ERP, BPM and PDM systems are designed.The position and function of the BPM system is also studied as an enterprise portal,information sharing platform, process monitoring platform and decision support platform. The information system integration modes are researched, and the characteristics and application scope of the integrated method are specified. In order to satisfy the exchange needs of the information, the Web Service and the Remote Method Invocation based on Hessian protocol are researched.(3) The ERP and BPM integrated management platform is constructed for achieving the process convergence of the production activities and management activities, then the business information organized by the integration system can be used to support business decisions and provide a refinement process traceability.Based on the proposed ERP and BPM system integration principle, the manufacturing process quality management model, the outsourcing production management model,and the resource lifecycle management business process model are designed. The system integrated information interaction models and decision support models are also built by the business features. The whole resource life cycle process monitoring model is proposed and the typical business scenarios by applying the model are presented respectively.(4) The research is verified by implementing information system integration and optimization project at some domestic manufacturing enterprise, which are constructed based on the commercial ERP and BPM system. The project has achieved the desired effect, which greatly improves the enterprise production and management business collaboration efficiency, promotes enterprise management improvement and business transformation, and provides important support for the business decisions and the production technology improvement. The proposed business solutions and system integration scheme can be applied to other enterprises or business areas.
