With the development of modern electronic warfare and information warfare, precise strike of the missile has become the hotspot of the national defense research. As the eyes of the missile, the fuze antenna which is conformal with the surface of the missile is much more important. The waveguide fed slot antenna has the advantages of simple struture, light weight, high reliability, what's more, it is esay to be conformal with the surface of the carrrier and the aperture distribution of which can be controlled to form the desired pattern with low sidelobe. The long slot leaky-wave waveguide antennas have been given more attention as the candidate of the fuze antenna, because of the characteristics of the main beam sweeping with the operating frequency.The radiation principle of the common waveguide slot antenna and the design procedure of the array antenna is introduced. The extraction of the electrical parameters of the array is based on the conventional methods, then the synthetic curves of the electric parameters are obtianed. According to the technical index of the fuze antenna, the dimensions of the waveguide and the parameters of the slot are determined. According to the technical index of the fuze antenna, the distribution of the amplitude of the excitation current of the gap element and the nomalized conductance relative to the slot position is obtained and the ideal pattern at specific frequencies. The electrical parameter of the slot by using the software HFSS is extacted and fitted to curves. By comining the electric parameters fitted curve and Taylor distribution law, the initial model of the long slot leaky-wave waveguide antenna is obtained. The narrow wall of the rectangular waveguide is thickened and an additional layer of film is attached to the radiation apeture mask of the antenna. The whole model is simulated and then optimization design of the parameters of the long slot leaky-wave waveguide antenna.The antenna is designed to be used on the surface of the body, so a structure with the four antnnas which are ubiformly distributed on the surface of a cylinder is desinged. The four-antennas structureis simulated and the isolation between two antennas is obtained,the simulation results show that the antenna will not interfere with each othe.
