With the impact of the ever-changing media technology, increasingly open political environment, the rise of mass culture, and economic development, China's TV media environment has changed. This change leads the TV content products out of traditional two-factor model-"content+form ", and trying to make Innovation. Just concentrating on "content" and "form" has been far behind the trend of the times, and TV products put more and more emphasis on two-way interactive and audience experience. Therefore, the television content products' elements have upgraded in the changing times from previous two-elements model- "Content+form", to the four-element model-"content+form+relationship+scene". In addition, the upgrade of television content products' elements have a tremendous impact on the innovation of television variety show's concepts and ideas, production processes, communication and operational mechanism.Variety show is an important part of television media, and it witnesses a new scene in the new environment. The model of the traditional content product is "two-factor" model——"Content+Form", that is through harmonious match between content and form, the communication products become available to users. But for four-element model, which is in addition to the traditional two elements, it also includes the "relationship" element and "Scenes" element. Keeping with the times, TV variety show tries its best to use the internet and other media technology to setup the "relationship" element and "scenes" element, then produce valuable, attractive, appreciable information. The "Content" and "Form" elements embody in the practice of production, in order to achieve the television variety show's innovation in the new environment. Therefore, the article starts from the angle of the upgrade of television content products' elements, and then discusses how the media ecological environment makes the upgrades happen. And after the upgrades what impacts have happened to of the TV variety show innovation.At last, this paper will take an in-depth analysis of TV variety show's innovation from four different elements of content production, so that it can do something for the television media to seize the opportunity on the innovation and development.
