New Media And The Spread Of The Ethical Issues In The Context Of The Research

Adam Smith mentioned in The wealth of nations: “ It is risky and unsupportable in morality if the fruits of economical development of one certain society can't be distributed to the mass, because it will definitely harm the stability of society. As far as we are concerned, to develop is first and to coordinate development is the next. We should pay particular attention to social equality and justice.” With the processing of legal institution of us, there is a growing trend of social life with the theme: equality and justice. In the open international community, we are increasingly enjoying the fruits from reforming and enjoying the ever-growing demands for material culture,but meanwhile, more and more serious incidents come up like “violent equality” and“violent justice”, which leads to a series of ethical problems and has a far-reaching influence on group of students. Those incidents go crazily in a way of virus spread,especially under the background of “ Internet Plus”campaign and “New Media”innovation---Networks, cell phones as new tools for communication.As is mentioned in technical philosophy, as for the tools of every age, the real way to advancing a society is to seek the unity of instrumental rationality and value rationality. As it goes in “ Protestant ethic and Capitalist Spirit ” by German sociologist Max Weber, work ethics like Industry, thrifty and diligence will honor God and seek salvation from God by making its way in the secular work. Since the viewpoint came into being, it has been going with “good reason” of man's desire for material and wealth,and the instrumental rationality developed fast thereafter. Ever since, instrumental rationality has pushed people to go extreme,get lost in judgment and independence, seek all the way for profits and money. And instrumental rationality has become the burden for demands. Weber assumed that as to tools as the instruments, it is, after all, transitional, but the point is on us and on our humanity.Hence, under the context of new media at present, the serial problems are rooted in our humanity and its alienation and materialization in the environment of New Media.So, we have to pay immediate attention to the problems occurring in the context of New Media, which is holding a great impact on our social,material and spiritual life.Ever since modern times, material civilization process of human society has beenlifted up by multiple revolutions in science and technology. Internet New Media coming with scientific development has integrated the world into a “global village”,but it is also a double-edged sword. The limitations coming up at the same time are on the rise and affects the building of human spiritual civilization. During the course of facing and solving those limitations, ethic test and moral quality in addition to laws are playing a bigger role. So, the paper hereby analyze from different perspectives the problems of communication ethics in the context of New Media. First, we briefly introduce the present situation of new media development in China in a thinking way of raising problems, analyzing problems and solving problems, and go deeply on the cause of communication ethical problems in the contest of New Media based on relevant knowledge in philosophy and communication science, and then discuss the ethical problems of new media in China and the common reasons caused by. The suggestions and solutions to communication ethical problems are given in the end so as to contribute to enterprises and society in a larger way.
